Yuck and Yuck.
I moved to my current apartment around November of last year. Ever since then my sinuses and allergies have not been agreeing with me. I’m really worried that it’s something with my building. I usually feel better at work or on vacation and spend my evenings and weekends hacking up a lung.
This sucks. I don’t know what to do about it seeing that I can’t move again. Time to invest in some humidifiers or de-humidifiers or whatever the heck I need.
Anyone want to join me? No?
I posted about The Ring Cycle a few months ago, but it’s now time to make a commitment and actually purchase the tickets.
Big problem is scheduling, of course and sealing your fate for 15 hours. The first three operas aren’t too bad, running at around 3 hours, but the last production in the cycle is almost 6 hours long. It isn’t something I want to partake in on a weekday after work. I’m 85% sure that I’ll go with the Ring Cycle 1 schedule as it takes place on Saturday over 4 weekends.
I’m ridiculously excited about this.

Somehow we spent over $300 at a place that sells $1 burgers, $2 shots, and $3 beers. Brilliant.
Looking back, that was pretty impressive. Atleast $50 of that was burgers.

I officially have not had pants on for the last 2 hours. Such an act is supposed to be celebrated regularly when you live alone. I’ve been in my house for a year and a half now and never explored home underwear trot.
Feels great. New trend, no pants Friday?
Wait, you’re supposed to wear pants when you live alone? Usually the first thing I do when I get home is take the majority of my clothes off. (sorry, mom)

Burning Man 2009, here’s this year’s link BURNING MAN 2008 -
I am planning a trip of close and not so close friends out to the Nevada desert next summer. Is it worth 6 of your vacation days? The more the merrier. I need to experience this before I turn 30 is what this all comes down to.
I’ve been wanting to do this, but have never had the guts to plan it nor do I know if I have the patience for that much craziness.
Two weeks from now, I’ll be back at my parents house sitting on the porch holding my baby
niece. I can’t wait.
